OVERVIEW
SP006P is an Ethernet Surge Protector with ethernet ports for Cat6/5 cables, providing surge protection for PoE devices with 100Mbps network bandwidth, 802.3at standards, and up to 30W power supply.
Outdoor Ethernet Surge Protector
SP006P is an Ethernet Surge Protector that can direct the surge to the ground when the energy of lightning exceeds a certain value. SC&T's surge protector series is recognized by our project clients as it can effectively protect their outdoor network equipment.

100Mbps Bandwidth
An 8MP (4K)/MPG4/30fps camera's bandwidth is about 48Mbps, while SP006P supports 100Mbps bandwidth, which is sufficient for most outdoor PoE cameras.
Support IEEE 802.3at
SP006P supports up to IEEE 802.3at PoE standards and allows a maximum power of 30W from the power supply unit. You can use the device for corresponding power needs in your projects.
Less Than 1ns Response Time
Within less than 1ns, the SP006P surge protector detects and responds to lightning to protect your equipment.
Plug and Play
SC&T's surge protectors are all plug-and-play without configuration. Note that the bandwidth and PoE specifications must be correct when installing them.
Why You Should Choose SC&T's Surge Protector
Recommendations from Real Cases
SC&T Surge Protector series is used in a wide range of projects, from roadside monitoring to military camps, parks, and campuses, and adopted by our integrator partners to help their customers reduce equipment damage.
Reliable Technical Support
SC&T is a professional with extensive experience in CCTV & Pro AV products. You are welcome to share information about your projects, and we can help clarify your concerns and answer questions about your project before purchasing.
Cautions
Installation on Both Sides
A surge protector can only protect surges from one side. If you only install one surge protector, your equipment is still threatened by surges from the other side. Please make sure to install surge protectors on both sides of the equipment.
Surge Protectors are usually labeled with how they are to be connected: Cable End is where you connect the cable and ground. Equipment End is where to connect to your PoE device.
Understanding Required Bandwidth
An ethernet surge protector must comply with the bandwidth of your system, which usually depends on the camera's resolution and frame rate. You can refer to SC&T's Bandwidth Table below or use a Bandwidth Calculator to choose the required surge protector.
